Laoch (Warrior) by Mary McGinty    Granite 22x40cm (2002) © Mary McGinty was born in Upper Corkery, County Donegal. She studied Art at Middlesex and Kingston Polytechnics, London from where she graduated in 1991. She has exhibited widely at International Symposia throughout the world and has received numerous commissions for public works, including 'Calves' sited in Charlestown, County Mayo; 'Arch Forms' sited at Claremorris, County Mayo and 'Instruments' sited at Portlaoise, County Laois. She now lives and works in Gweedore, Donegal.
